Brief Curriculum Vitae



Ms Antonia Varkintzoglou was born in Athens in 1964, where she completed primary and secondary education. In 1985 she graduated from the Pedagogical Academy of Mytilene and since 1986 she has been working in Primary Education.

In 1995, she became a graduate of the Faculty of Social Theology of the Theological School of Athens University and in 2003, after completing successfully the post Graduate Program of the Department of Patristic Studies, History of Doctrines and Symbolic, she obtained her M,Sc. degree with honors for her work on “The Mystical Theology and the expression of it, through the contrasting terminology of St. Gregory of Nyssa”.

In 2011, she was awarded her PhD in the field of Patristic studies, History of Doctrines and Symbolic of the Faculty of Theology of the Theological School of Athens, in the subject of Patrology with her PhD thesis on “The original sin and the consequences of this in the teaching of St. Gregory Nyssa”.

Ms Antonia Varkintzoglou also holds skills and knowledge of Information Technologies and Communications and has sufficient knowledge French and English in spoken and written level.

She has also taken part in a series of Greek and international scientific conferences and workshops.
